Guar gum is a substance derived from guar beans, which has thickening and stabilizing properties usefully in various industries; the food and Oil & Gas industry are the two primary industries.
In the Oil & Gas industry, the stabilizing and thickening properties of guar gum are used in the fracking process of oil drilling (“fracking”). During the “fracking” process, hard rock containing oil or gas is drilled (“fracked”) into until the source of oil/gas is reached – at this point fracking fluid is used to stabilize the “fracture”, the point where the rock has been cracked into and oil/gas stars flowing out, in order to extract the oil/gas properly.
Guar gum is a cheap, critical component of fracking fluid that helps stabilize the fracture with its unique properties. As such, guar gum is purchased by Oil & Gas companies that manufacture their own fracking fluid, Oil/Gas Drilling service companies that provide full service drilling services (these companies would manufacture their own fracking fluid with purchased guar gum), fracking fluid manufacturers, and specialty chemical companies that manufacture fracking fluid.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Balcorp Limited represents a premier guar gum supplier in India that wants to expand its reach in Canada.
As Balcorp is a broker/representative of the supplier, companies that Balcorp will be selling to will in effect not be going direct to the supplier.
As such, Balcorp’s target market will not be large Oil & Gas companies (eg. companies with large market caps; $250M+) but rather smaller Oil & Gas companies ($5M-$250M) that would be manufacturing their own fracking fluid, Oil & Gas Drilling Service providers ($5M-$500M), fracking fluid manufacturers ($5M-$1B), and small specialty chemical companies ($5M-$500M).

Balcorp is hiring a freelancer to generate 30-40 leads, as per the above target market, for the *** Canadian Market ***.
