Project Goal:
To opened a vps connection once again on port 3074 though which Game X calls system network protcals from the xbox dashboard network. (Note: The original Xbox live was a tunneling vps system which hosted a friends list and connected clients to each other). By opening up these ports and others we should be able to operate our own private network in place of Xbox Live for the original Xbox only (NOT XBOX360).

Location: We have a virtual office, so any location is fine, but you must be available to meet online for meetings TBA which run for about an hour.
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced programmers to lead the development for our game servers development. Keep in mind you will have to reverse engine the original Xbox from scratch in order to break the encryption. (no data for the xbox live service will be given)
This will include:
-- Creating and profiling game databases.
-- Experience programming and architecting networking or online systems
-- Writing tools for server management.
-- Creating tools for backing up game data.
-- Profiling server load and bottlenecks.
-- continue the xbox live feature that enables voice chat
-- Previous work with Xbox development and LIVE. (plus but not required)
-- More than a year of experience as a server developer.
-- Good understanding of server best practices.
-- Able to perform network profiling and identify bottlenecks.
-- Has Amazon EC2 experience.
-- Linux (Redhat) and Xbox Linux experience.
-- Basic CMake/Makefile knowledge.
-- C++ experience.
-- Database server experience (SQL).
-- FreeBSD and NetBSD (plus but not required)
