Hi there, lost vmx file is not that bad, but will need some actions to recover. It can be done with appropriate level of access to the vsphere/vmware client (looks like you have it, based on screenshot). Furthermore, you'll need to share all the details of the VM spec (number of vCPU, vRAM, vNIC, etc) as this is basically the information stored in vmx. I won't do it via TeamViewer, will need direct access to host/vsphere. regards

Hello, I work as VMware admin and based on my experienced it happened if the esxi host lost connectivity to the storage/ datastore. Few solutions I think is we needed to reconnect the host to datastore or refresh the VM connection to the esxi host which I can help you on both.
