Dear sir, I would definitely try to eliminate your mail server from blacklist. The reasons might be various and before any final conclusion what is causing your mail server to be blacklisted, really thorough investigation of log files and blacklist reports should be done. Usually it is one of the following reasons: 1. too strict blacklist policies - you might miss DKIM, SPF and DMARC settings on your mail server or miss records in your DNS, reverse DNS or blacklist might just flag entire B or C class of public addresses as spammer address (like uceprotect for instance) 2. stolen usernames/password - very common problem, and usually the first thing to look at What I would encourage you to do is: 1. install policy deamon (cluebringer) and put at least some policy for outgoing mails - let's say no more than 200 mails can be send per hour 2. install mailgraph - nice tool which clearly shows peaks of sent mail 3. install fail2ban - a daemon which will prevent brute-force login attacks on pop3/imap and web mail I am really not in favor of first solution (smtp relaying to another host) simply because I really think your smtp relay, sooner or later, will be blacklisted if you don't sort the problem below (original smtp). I can very easily take care of this blacklist problem. I have over 14 years of experience as a senior linux administrator and currently work for a company similar to BlueHost. I deal with issues like this all the time and can easily get the IP delisted and identify why it got on there in the first place.
