My Previous Project was with IOCL it is one of the biggest government corporation in India. I used CNN for anomaly detection you can go through this. I will be a good fit for your project. MASS - Machine Advanced Scanning System  To maintain the health of pipelines, A device (IPIG) built with MFL sensor technology and collect the data in binary format and analyze the data to detect internal and external defects and metal loss in the pipeline. There are 6 major anomalies in the pipelines named Metal Loss, Weld, Sleeve, Magnetic Marker, Flange and Valve.  Data Cleaning and Normalization : To clean the data we identified noisy sensors, dead sensors and irregular sensors and removed. Used StandardScaler to normalize the data and applied Gaussian filter for smoothing.  For Anomaly Detection (with Zero False Negative and Less than 5 % False Positive), we used multiple approaches including 2 method, 2 Class XGBoost and some rule based approaches.  For Anomaly Classification, we used XGBoost (with accuracy 99.3 %) and CNN(with accuracy 99.6 %) after rejecting approaches like Random Forest, ANN, rule based methods, DTW and clustering.

But to implement this you have to either share the labelled dataset with me or you can share the list of classes to be detected by our model and I'll collect and label the dataset and create the CNN model as well.
