Hey, Yeah Google Vision API is very good and can probably can solve your problem. Your project looks simple, but I need to know some more small details. I have worked with Google Vision API before also, and applied OCR many times. Google just charge $1.5 for scanning 1,000 documents.

Hey there, I will be able to help you with the problem as i have worked on invoice processing recently for Asutralian financial invoices including real estate rent notices, electricity bills, council rates notices and more. The solution to your problem: 1. Gather training data with sorted and labelled financial documents 2. Run through Vision OCR to collect data for NLP 3. Build a cleaning script to clean the OCR output such that the output regions (coordinate boxes) are homogeeneous 4. Train Google's NLP model to classify the documents (resultant cleaned text) according to the pre-defined categories. 5. Build an inference script to call NLP API to classify/sort/label documents and upload to cloud CRM 6. (Optional) Build an API interface to automatically upload the documents to OCR, clean the texts, get result from NLP and upload the data to cloud CRM If this sounds what you expect, let's have a chat.
