Input -Data matrix with 70 predictors (metric and binary) and 3 target variables -4000 cases Work -Use boruta wrapper for random forest in R -find settings that maximized HIT RATE -measure hitrate in a 10 fold cross validation setting Deliverable -optimal settings and performance statistics -prediction values for every case and every target variable. Prediction values are those where the case that is subject for prediction is not part of the learning set (cross validation approach) Timing -finalize in 1 week

Hi, I have experience working with R and Random Forests including various cross validation techniques to get the best accuracy. An initial analysis will be carried out to understand the different predictors with respect to each other and the targets. The 3 targets will be encoded into a single target in order to treat the problem as a univariate ML problem. A grid search will be used to find the optimal RF parameters and if this is found to be inefficient we could try using other algorithms to speed up covering the parameter input space. Regards, Chris

I have indepth knowledge of Random Forest and feature selection so dealing with 70 features will be easy for us. I always perform cross-validation and other required techniques on dataset. Data Outlier | Creator of multiple R libraries | TEDx Speaker | Brainstormer Having built multiple R libraries to easy data processing and easy analysis, I am sure to be able to solve the challenge. I have used shitty government data, massive (TBs) satellite data and unstructured internal company data to come up with awesome insights and models. A few of the projects which I have worked on and I see a similarity here (and this excites me): 1. Malaria Prediction in India: Using open data, satellite data to predict the number of cases of malaria at each hospital. Using various statistical models. Yes, even tested random forest, but a combination of various models gave the best output 2. Predicting flight prices: Again used different models to come up with an optimal day to buy flight prices 3. Land Classification in Africa: Used satellite data and a training data to classify entire Africa in grids of 1km into build-up, green, barren, or water and saw the change over the years With confidence, I can say that the requirements mentioned can be solved, getting the most optimal output for the performance statistics and the predicted target values in the specified time. One thing clients love about me, is the ideas I give and go out of the way to get more than what is required, if required to solve the problem. Let's do this!
