I’ve already installed the official “Meta – Facebook & Instagram” extension for catalog syncing and the Apptrian Meta Pixel & Conversions API module for tracking. What still isn’t in place is a dedicated “Redirect” event that fires every time a shopper leaves my store for one of our 3-party marketplace partners. Here’s what I need you to accomplish: • Deactivate only the conversion-tracking module of the Meta official extension so my product feed remains untouched. • Extend the Apptrian module with a lightweight JavaScript helper that watches for outbound clicks that match my marketplace URLs. The helper must recognise both button and standard text links. • When such a click occurs, trigger a custom “Redirect” event through both the Meta Pixel and CAPI in the same hit. Please include the outbound link’s full URL as an event parameter so it shows up in Facebook Event Manager. My acceptance test is simple: after you deploy the code to our staging site, I’ll click a qualifying link and expect to see a “Redirect” conversion, complete with the destination URL, appear in the Meta Events Manager in real time. Once confirmed, we can move it to production. The store runs on Magento 2. If you’ve previously worked with RequireJS mixins or observer overrides inside that ecosystem, this should be straightforward.
