I have over 6 years of experience in software development and telecommunication networks administration and management.
Since January 2016, I work for Tattile Srl, Brescia, Italy, as an algorithms designer and I am a member of the Algorithm Design and Software Development
team of the company. My main activity is the development and maintenance of OCR algorithms used in license plate recognition software. The position requires the ability to analyze a new project; understand how to structure the necessary imaging algorithms; create new algorithms or optimize existing ones.
From March 2014 to Dec 2015, I worked for DLTM, Ligurian Cluster of Marine Technologies, a regional research center in La Spezia, Italy. I worked as a researcher in the High Performance Computing Lab. My main responsibility was to develop parallel programs targeting heterogeneous architectures. I used mainly MPI, OPENMP and CUDA as my parallel programming frameworks. Moreover, I was involved in a data visualization project where I have used JavaScript, python, Django, Highcharts and D3js intensively.
I have worked as a research assistant at the Computer Architecture Group of the University of Siena, Italy, from Dec 1, 2013 to Mar 31, 2014. During this period I was involved in the European Union funded project: TERAFLUX. This project proposes a new architecture for emerging manycore/multicore architectures based on the DataFlow Parallel Programming methodology. My main responsibility was to assess the per
