Hi Justin, This is my proposal as to what I feel would be beneficial, assumptions from my side as well as further info required: Proposal: --------------- 1 ) Build out your SQL Azure database according to your specifications or work on an existing database that you may already have. 2 ) Build a ASP.NET API that would be run on a Free Windows Azure website to build the service layer between the clients ( whether the client is the phone application or the up and coming website you wish to surface this data ) This can be scaled or moved to a dedicated instance later. 3 ) Build a Windows Phone application ( Windows phone 7 or 8 ) which will have a UI specifically built for the data you wish to capture and communicate back to the API. Please note I would build a native Windows Phone application, not something that is wrapped by phonegap or similar. Questions: ---------------- 1 ) I assume you have a Windows Azure Account ready and provisioned? 2 ) Is the data defined that you want to pull from SQL Azure to the phone? 3 ) To create a user is anyone with the app able to do so or will there be a rule system that would need to be catered for? 4 ) Can you elaborate more on the starred list of from users?
