Hello, I have gone through your requirements, let me explain you in detail... - your app is sending location to server in every 1 minute. Now, in latest android versions there is limitation on background services so we have to use forground service in which everything will remain same but we have to display notification while updating location. 2nd if we use forground service app will not restart while app is removed from background. 3rd yes we can start background service while phone restart.
