Need help repairing 502 Gateway errors on nginx -- ruby & MongoDB required

We have a live iOS/Android app that has been having issues since we had a DYN/DNS problem. We fixed those DNS issues, but we are still getting 502 Gateway Bad errors on a critical ubuntu server running nginx. We also have recently switched cloud hosting providers for our MongoDB, and need that to be repointed within our two servers (conf files, etc.) We no longer have a back-end developer on staff, and need immediate help on getting a critical piece of our back-end up and running. We did in fact hire a Freelancers before, but are still having issues due to the recent database migration. We also had another consultant look into the issues, and we have a Slack history on the progress. So, if you have seen this post before, this is an update to our issue.
