FULL STACK DEVELOPER POSITION

SUMMARY:   Universal Diagnostics (UDX) is looking to hire a Full Stack Developer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a passionate and fast-growing startup developing novel diagnostic test with the potential to significantly impact society.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance of a web based frontend. Maintenance of a REST API based web server. Maintenance of Non-SQL databases. Other programming tasks. Diagnose and solve hardware and software related issues. Perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral [login to view URL] EXPERIENCE: Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards. Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units. 2-5 years of demonstrable programming experience working with web applications, REST APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript & database design. Familiarity with version control systems for software development: Git knowledge would be desired. Minimum demonstrable professional English proficiency required: C1, C2 would be desired. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Familiarity with UNIX systems for application development and deployment. Presentation development and verbal communications. Efficient problem solving capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic project management skills to track issues and projects. Strong team worker and self-starter attitude. DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Demonstrable experience working with AngularJS or similar JavaScript frameworks. Demonstrable experience in Non-SQL based databases. Demonstrable experience in the Go programming language. Demonstrable experience working with Bootstrap or similar CSS framework. Strong team worker and self-starter attitude. Familiarity with other programming languages, like Bash scripting, Perl, Python, C, Java, etc. Familiarity with multiple programming paradigms: Imperative, Object Oriented, Functional, Event Based, etc. Familiarity with test driven development and testing methodologies. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
