Reading XML values from database in vb.Net application (Item specifics for ebay categories using SDK)

I have an application in vb.net for uploading data to our online eBay auction management site. I need help in implementing item specifics (read below) in this VB.net application.

The item specifics are stored in XML format in **Characteristicsets table in [url removed, login to view] database**

When user clicks on new consignment and enters item details, each item has item specifics which can be entered in categories form.

There is a tree-view control in categories form, when user selects category from this tree-view, the item-specifics will be shown in a web-browser control nearby tree-view control.

Each category has a categoryid, stored in categories table, and also additional column of cs_id which when is greater that zero means that there are item-specs for that category otherwise not.

Those item-specs are then picked up from cs_XML column against that cs_id column, and showed on the browser control on form.

User can enter item specs for new item and also can view old item specs entered and also can edit them.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
