NSIS Installer Required For Charting Programs Plugin

The background for this project is that the C++ code consists of a dll that operates as a plugin to a number of charting packages, namely TradeStation, Esignal, Metastock, Amibroker, Wealthlabs, Neoticker, Metatrader. It plots custom trend indicators and stop losses into all of these charting packages via the dll. There is also a registration program to only allow registered users to access indicators via the dll. In other words, a user will select which platform they want the indicators for and the installation process will be different according to what platform is selected. The following platforms will be available for selection in the installation program: Amibroker Esignal Metastock MetaTrader NeoTicker TradeStation Wealthlabs The following is always done, no matter what platform is selected. 1. [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] installed into C:\Program Files\Trends and Stops (In other words their default hard drive, Program Files\Trends and Stopsor a directory of their choice, if the user changes the default installation directory then whenever C:\Program Files\Trends and Stops is referred to belowthen it should be the installation directory selected by the user.) 2. The following directories are created under C:\Program Files\Trends and Stops Amibroker Esignal Metastock MetaTrader NeoTicker TradeStation Wealthlabs Each of these directories will install a number of files to be provided. 4. C:\Program Files\Trends and Stops registered as a PATH variable Now, the following installation is done if selected by the user: eSignal 1. AFS files in C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Formulas\Trends and Stops MetaTrader 1. MQ4 files in C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators NeoTicker 1. Place Indicator Files in C:\Program Files\TickQuest\NeoTicker4\indicator 2. [login to view URL] in C:\Program Files\TickQuest\NeoTicker4\indicator MetaStock 1. [login to view URL] into C:\Program Files\Equis\MetaStock\External Function DLLs Wealthlab 1. Do the equivalent of a regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Trends and Stops\[login to view URL]" (so COM subsystem can find it). Any files referred to will be provided and if the platform isn't mentioned, then no custom installation in addition to the installation common to all platforms is required. I am open to suggestions for issues that will arise if the directory that should exist for a given platform (e.g. C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\Plugins) doesn't exist or if the user installed in a location other than a default location. Perhaps the installer can go searching or display an appropriate error message. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
