SME is a company that manages the profiles of small and Medium size Enterprises. It aims to facilitate the formation of virtual enerprises that consist of complementary business partners to meet the emerging customer demands. You have been asked by the company to act as a consultant to design adn implement a distributed information system that allows SME -- To add their profiles into the system, and -- To find business partners by searching through the profiles based on the given competence Among other things each profile should include information on a company's name, address, size(i.e. number of staff), and competence (described as a list of strings, e.g. {project management, web based distributed application design}). For integrating with other systems, the profiles should be accessible as XML document; in addition, a DTD or a XML schema should be provided for other systems to varify the XML presentationof the profiles. A report with following is required; -- Design(including detailed architecture diagram) -- Implementation (your chosen middleware, programming language and tools) -- Appendix A. Insructions (describing how your code is compiled and how your application is launched) and screen shots The report should not include more than 4 A4 pages. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform you can use any programming language which satisfy requirements.
