Web Author Project. Web Technician, Service Oriented, Open Source Minded, Cost Concious. Set up a dynamic data driven site structure in HTML, MySQL & PHP, Linux/Unix type server. ## Deliverables Work order rewritten This is specifically a PHP, MySql LAMP project to run on Linux/Unix Server environment. MY CHOICE. I am not willing to consider anything that is not open source, especially NOT asp.net. All scripts and code must reside on my webhost server at bluehost unless cleared by me in advance. All copyrite and all source code for anything that gets compiled is to be included to the me, client, without restriction. All technology is to be portable and readable and editable by others, preferably not generated in web authoring applications. Ultimately, I will need too much interactive functionality to try to get it all set up initially. I tried to describe the project as initially posted. I do appreciate whatever efforts you tried to sort out from that lengthly project description I posted. But the description came out too lengthly, I don't need it all working up front. If I try to get someone to construct all the functionality that I envision now, it will change by the time my content is user-ready anyway. And hopefully if we work within LAMP technology, functionality is all expandable later if we just set up basic functionality for now. You may pretty much disregard the tentative database field structures I specified in my original project description. I was not aware at the time that database relations are managed by a third database table so I tried to put in multiple InterestArea fields to allow for automated querries in the future. Been a long time since I did any database work at all and never with programing or on the net. So a lot of what is in that project description that I posted originally can pretty much be be ignored at this point. For now, I need a rudimentary data driven site set up on my webhost's server at BlueHost-Com. Not to be concerned with design style presentation just yet. It does not have to look presentable yet. Just allow me to create content pages and start getting used to working with basic function. In PHP MySql open source technology. I want to organize content in the form of separate documents that contain mainly text. With the ability to add sound, graphics, charts, and tables to these presentation pages. I want to be able to create unlimited separate documents like this on my own. Each document should be able to be pulled up from a page or pages that I can create. I have a rusty working experience with basic html so I should be able to create and link pages at will on my own if I brush up. But database relations are not within my capability. I do not want or need a graphical interface to set up database relations. If you would just creat a few blank content pages with many-to-many type database relations and written instructions how to create more pages, and written instructions how to edit existing code on my server to maintain and change the relations, as I add more pages, that would be most helpful. It would also be interesting and helpful as well to set up a user database for visitors. I have no content that is visitor-ready. But it would be good to start getting that data functional interactively with the content. One step at a time. So initially for now, I need a user database for visitors. A web page where they can create a new account or sign in. When a user is logged in and browsing separate content pages, I want them to be able to add those separately titled content pages to their personal list of interests. When a user is logged in, he should be able to go to a page to access and edit details specific to his personal profile. And also to another page to view and delete his personal areas of interests linked to titled content pages. These user/vistiors will not be getting formally charged any money. But when I am up and running, I intend that reminders to contribute funds will be everywhere and everpresent, with the visitor having the option to turn the reminders off temporarily. Or if they make a contribution through the site, they should be turned off temporarily as well. Later, I will need the reminder screens should eventually accept credit cards, PayPal, or print off mail in forms. But I do not want to permenantly store anybody's credit card information. So basically, my initial project needs right now include around ten or twelve plain un-styled pages, perhaps three or so interactive dabases and written instructions as follows: ~ Home page with links: [introduction], [content], [SignUp/login], ~ Introduction page with links: [home], [content], [SignUp/login], [contribute] ~ Several Content Pages with many-to-many database relation with links or actions: [home], [content], [SignUp/login], [contribute], [RelatedPages], [AddAsAnInterestToUserAccount] ~ A Contribute page that remembers where the user was last and can take him back there. This page need not function for processing payments just yet. For now, just a working button that says ?€œtake me back to where I came from?€. ~ Written clear instructions on how to create additional content pages. ~ A ***database table*** to manage the relations between the content pages. ~ Written clear instructions on how to manage content page database relations within the code. ~ A User SignUp/login page or pages with appropriate database entry fields* and all logical links to the rest of the site as well as links to: [MyProfile], and [MyInterestPreferances] ~ A MyProfile page with database fields to enter user data. ~ A MyInterestPreferances page that allows users to view, edit, or delete database relations to specific content pages. ~ A ***user database*** with a few sample records in it. ~ A ***database table*** to link many-to-many relations between users and content pages. ~ It would be nice if I could have instructions to allow me to access and view the user database fields and records from within OpenOfficeBase if that is possible. I have not yet used OpenOfficeBase. But have in the past used other database applications. * User Database Entry Fields ?€" I need most of the typical user info - UserName (required) Password (required**) **no format stipulations any length from 2 to 25 characters. Email (required) AND VERIFIED FirstName (required) LastName (optional) Address (optional) City (optional) State (optional) ZipCode+4 (required***) *** I will need the zip PLUS FOUR! Unfortunately, a lot of folks don't know their +4. If you know of a way to make the site get the +4 for them off the net somehow using their street address and put it in the fied for them, please let me know. Otherwise, I could request that they go to [login to view URL] and get it for me manually if they don't know their +4. But I definitely need the +4 for future operations. Other points - 1) In addition to a fully-functional working website in executable form, I need complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future). 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. Any website server-side deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive complete copyrights to all work purchased. 3b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement. 4) This project is a time sensitive first step in a very time sensitive endeavor. These several pages and databases are not a major project for an experienced LAMP Programmer. I need what is described here functional within two weeks or otherwise discussed up front and made a part of any agreement. Preferrably sooner. If you are not able to commit to a completion date, work towards it, stay on schedule no matter what other work comes your way after the commitment is established, and deliver when agreed, then please do not bid on this one. I take my commitment to pay on time serously and It will not go well for either of us if time commitment for the work is not taken seriously. 5) This is specifically a PHP, MySql, LAMPproject to run on Linux/Unix Server environment. MY CHOICE. I am unwilling to consider anything that is not open source, especially NOT asp.net. All scripts and code must reside on my webhost's server at BlueHost-COM unless cleared through me in advance. All copyrite and all source code for anything that gets compiled is to be included to the me, the client, without restriction. All technology is to be portable and readable and editable by others, preferably not generated in web authoring software applications.
