Ecommerce (osCommerce) website & migration

OUR EXPECTED SOLUTION: WE NEED an opensource ecommerce shopping cart software which we can easily modify. We believe osCommerce or its derivatives (Zen Cart or CRE Loaded) are the answer to our prayers. Thus we need someone to transfer ALL the data(products) AND the functionality of the existing website to the new website. And then to add all the features we want from this new website. The project will be completed in phases. The chosen programmer will be paid only after completion of each phase. I've written out a spec of exactly what I need in this PDF file in the link below. This is the most accurate requirements outlined. Please view it BEFORE bidding. This site we created many years ago using an online ecommerce shopping cart tool. The problem is since this tool is an online tool, we cannot add our own server side scripts or even query our own databases! ## Deliverables Phase I: Transfer all products from the current website to osCommerce. This is a little more difficult than it may seem because all the thumbnail may need to be resized to look right as well as a script maybe needs to be written to grab all the images for each product because our database does not export all the image filename for some reason. So prefer it if the eBay auction winner then pay for their item on our website and then checkout from the shopping cart or add other items from the website! This is good because we then don't have to pay Paypal fees and also they often end up buying other things on our website! We have an exact design of how we envision this system to look like, please see our design requirement PDF file before bidding! ------------------------------ Phase III: Pay Page Currently we use a pay page to handle our eBay payments (see link below). A pay page lets a customer pay any amount for a particular product (don't worry we got people making sure that they are paying the correct amount). They start the project OK, but for some reason can never complete it. Then they keep the entire money for the project. This has become VERY frustrating. I neither have a product nor my money. As a result, I have divded the project into phases (see above). You will only get your money after you complete a phase. I will not deposit any money into escrow. Thus there is no compensation for attempted work. We are a big company, if you don't like our payment terms, please don't bid. Still uncomfortable about payment? Although we are a USA company, I make frequent trips around the world. Depending on where you are located, I'll stop by on my next business trip (I'm making a trip to New Delhi and Eastern Europe soon!). DELAY CLAUSE: ------------- I will let you tell me how long it will take you to finish the project. Then for each day you are late I will subtract $10. If you are more than 15 days late for any phase, I reserve the right to terminate you from the project and give it to someone else. For each day you complete the project early, I will add a minimum of $10. But keep in mind, I will probably not select you as a winning bidder if you say it will take you 3 months to complete phase I project. The point is, i need this project done fast and most importantly, ON TIME.
