Web App Project Planning

Are you a Project Manager who knows how to plan a project from start to finish? Are you familiar with Web App development? Do you have an understanding of web-based interface design, object models, and inheritance? Are you conversant with development lingo so that you can effectively communicate with software developers? This is a simple task for someone with the proper project planning skills. The right person will find this job challenging, exciting - even fun. ## Deliverables We're looking for a project planner who can understand the complete, "big picture", overarching "vision" of the web app our Chief Architect has designed. As the successful candidate, you will use your experience to turn that design into discrete, tiny "nano-projects" that, when combined, deliver a completed, fully functional application. You'll write up the project spec (suitable for posting here) that describes the deliverables and the use cases that prove the delivered code works according to spec. Your job is to ensure that each nano-project you write up fits into the cohesive whole. You'll plan the project from beginning to end, making sure that dependencies are identified up front, ensuring projects are allocated in the proper order, and that they interact properly. This will allow a variety of independent, freelance developers to work on their assigned projects without being bogged down waiting for others to complete their work. You must have exceptional project planning skills. You must be able to effectively write project planning documents based on an overall vision. You'll work from documents, recordings, and directly via conference call with our Chief Architect to ensure you completely understand the application to be developed. You must be available during US business hours and you must write in proper English. You don't need to be a native English speaker, but you must write with little or no "accent". We're not (yet) looking for the person/people to actually manage these projects through development - that will come under a separate bid. This is a planning and documentation project only.
