In-browser Image Editor

We are looking for an online web image editor for business cards, integrated with an existing/completed Shopify shopping cart. (The Shopify shopping cart is complete and should not be considered in this spec, however you should consider the integration which we will describe below) Front-End User Experience: User will select a type of business cards to purchase in our Shopify site, for example GLOSSY CARDS, and be directed to our GLOSSY CARDS product in Shopify. This has been done. We will have a link somewhere on the GLOSSY CARDS page in Shopify that says "DESIGN YOURSELF". Clicking this will cause a overlay to show up where users will be able to select from a range of jpg business card templates with various interesting design backgrounds thumbnails listed (the creation of the designs has been done and should not be considered in this spec). Once they click on a design background, it will direct to this image editor that you will create, where the user can type in his or her personal information for the business card and make customizations. There should be default fields for where the user will enter their information. In other words, the area where the user can type should be pre-specified. See [login to view URL]'s online image editor. The template needs to carry information such as font, font size, font colour and alignment, and default positions of the text and image. In other words, there should be default fonts and font sizes and as soon as the user begins to type, it will display in the preset font colour. The user also should be able to upload a picture, such as a logo in a predefined place. Therefore, there should be an upload picture button, a drop down to change font, font size, and font colour, and there needs to be three buttons to adjust left alignment, center, or right alignment. The user needs to be able to move the text or image on the canvas to a position of his or her choosing. There does not need to be complicated Photoshop special effects. Finally, when the user is done and clicks OK, a PDF file is saved and a link is provided for download and final inspection. As well, the PDF is automatically uploaded to the Shopify cart as a "line-item property" (Shopify terminology) Text functionality: User needs to be able to add and edit text and adjust font, font Size, font colour and alignment. Image functionality: User needs to be able to crop images and resize. For examples of what we are looking to create, please visit moo.com. Back-End Integration: We have a Shopify shopping cart set up and running. There are line-item properties attributable to each and every product in Shopify, which allows a customer to upload files along with a product. Normally, this is done with a "upload" button using Shopify's liquid language. (See [login to view URL]) Instead, we will require an automatic upload of the PDF file that the online-image editor generated once the user finalizes the file. When the user clicks OK in the web image editor, the file automatically uploads to the server. Languages: You can use javascript, PHP, Flash, and/or other langauges that you deem most suitable, but please check with us beforehand. What has already been completed: Our shopify ecommerce site.
