ODBC Driver

Attached is a data file for a popular accounting program. The supplier also sells an ODBC driver which allows you to access the tables in the data file. This driver is pretty expensive. I am wondering if someone can create an alternative driver. It may not be possible to do because of security built into the data file. I am not sure. I know that in the version you buy you have to enter the application registration code and also an unlock code specific to that data file. I can supply further details to the successful bidder if required.
