When I set my user agent string to "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.79 Safari/537.36 Edge/14.14393" and then load the "[login to view URL]" website it works for the first time (showing QR). However, when I restart my app it then starts redirecting to the mobile site every time I try to access https://web.whatsapp.com.
I need a permanent solution to have the WebView navigate safely to [login to view URL] without redirecting me.
Summary:
- I can open [login to view URL] desktop site (the one with the QR code) in my Android WebView with the above mentioned user agent string
- as soon as I stop the app and launch it again it redirects me to the mobile site
- I need the desktop site after every app launch
Hi. I am very interested in your project. I am a senior android developer in a local company and I have more than 4 years of experience. I do my research, come up with the best solution and develop an application that is smooth and easy to navigate, awesome looking and most importantly with great quality and performance. I do not discriminate projects for how big or complex they are and give my utmost attention to every single one of them. I think of every application as a piece of art and do my best to live up to that. I will make sure that you absolutely love your application and have no worries whatsoever.
