I have designed and Developed Laboratory Information System is deployed at Pakistan Largest Lab having Laboratory Automation of Siemens e.g Advia 1800, Centaure, Hematology Module and Copan's WASP LAB with stand alone and via Centralink. The application is catering, Routine Chemistry, Special Chemistry (Immunoassay), Hematolgy, Molecular, Blook Bank, and Culture and Sensitivity Tests alone with their reporting.

I have experience with these type of management software. Recently built an inventory management for a local shop here..

I already made this project, but in a large scale. I led a team of 10 developers to implement HIS from scratch as a custom-made software based on strong analysis for a hospital. the HIS contains a lab management with the features: 1) settings pages: - adding lab tests groups(hematology, virology, urine, stool .. etc). - adding lab tests of types (tests with parameters - culture and sensitivity tests). - adding parameters info. for each test (title, unit .. etc). - adding antibiotics used in culture-sensitivity tests. - adding reference ranges based on gender / age. 2) doctor/technician pages: - reviewing the patients waiting list . - accepting tests after it's paid at reception. - entering the results oftest (manually - automatically). - entering comments on test. - sending lab result to the doctor / patient with different ways (via HIS, via email). - reviewing patient's history with all tests and it's results. - reports about tests, patients, doctors. manual insert of results: doctor/tech can insert the results in case of any problem in receiving data directly from the device. automatic insert of results: there is an integration interface between test devices and HIS. when a test is finished on a device, it's automatically (based on it's setting) sends the result via a port (COM, USB, TCP), and the interface converts and inserts the result sting with HL7 standards into result tables. I WILL NOT provide the integration interface, but i can integrate with yours.
