Openalpr Script

Hello, I am using a service named openalpr - I capture license plates with the program but need to add gps to each plate capture. Tech support at openalpr said I could have someone write a script to add gps coordinates to each plate capture image. Here is the response I received from tech support on how to do this: The GPS coordinates are sent with every result POSTed from the OpenALPR agent. When you set the GPS configuration on the camera, it applies the configuration in /etc/openalpr/stream.d/[camera name].conf. If the position of the agent changes over time (e.g., it's in a car) you can update the position used by the agent by using the local webservice. 1. Enable the local OpenALPR Web Service if it's not already enabled. Edit /etc/openalpr/[login to view URL] and add web_server_enabled = 1 2. Enable GPS integration via the webservice by setting (in [login to view URL]): gps_use_webservice = 1 3. In your software, set the GPS coordinates at any frequency you like by sending an HTTP GET query in this format: http://localhost:8355/gps/set?longitude=38.8977&latitude=-77.0365 The OpenALPR agent will use that value at a minimum granularity of once per second. If no values are set for GPS coordinates then the JSON payload will not include gps_latitude and gps_longitude. In this update we also added these values to the heartbeat. I have a Windows 10 laptop that has a usb gps receiver - Industrial Qualcomm SiRF V USB GPS& GLONASS Concurrent Receiver that should provide the coordinates
