Our company is looking for talented PHP programmers who may not know EVERYTHING about PHP but is/are willing to learn.
Our company already has a client/server PHP app running with its own custom PHP framework which is simple to learn for a PHP programmer but of course would take time to do.
This project is NOT about just few hours of work, but more like hundreds of hours as there are a lot of modules, libraries and web pages to implement.
(One thing you need to know for sure is that this project is NOT about web scrapping. IT IS NOT!)
The PHP programmers we are looking for would need to learn our environment and willing to commit to us for the long run.
The main skills required are:
1. PHP
2. SQL (mySQL or MariaDB or even PostGres)
3. Good to expertise level knowledge of MVC architecture
4. Javascript
5. Jquery
6. some CSS (expertise level would be a plus)
Any additional skill would be a plus if related to PHP or programming.
This role is mostly for a backend-programmer, however someone with also good front-end would be a big plus.
That said, even if you do not have much front-end knowledge we will still be interested in you as we plan on hiring more 1 programmer.
We use JIRA but not necessarily Sprints .
In the beginning you will need to learn about our environment and demonstrate that you understand it by implementing few simple examples.
Then you will be assigned user-stories that are about 3 to 8 hours of development time each.
When you deliver some code, a QA member will test your code and it will merge to our staging environment.
Out of the 6 required skills listed above, the top 3 are the most important, but the other also are.
VERY IMPORTANT : Please tell us your level for each 6 skills using a 1-to-10 scale (10 meaning expert and 1 means beginner)
REPLY seriously to our ad and we will give you a serious consideration.
Quick reply or reply such as "check my profile..." will be quickly eliminated and immediately archived.
