Two week full time project for developing an application for an existing website

This project requires you to be a good programmer with rich experience in python and geolocations and being able to make most use of open source freeware, gems & plugins available. In addition you must be a seasoned web-scraper who has successfully used and connected the readily available existing code in order achieve a good integration into the existing website. This is a two week full time project. Do not apply if you are not able to commit to this . Brief: Our website has three types of users, admin, boat owner and boat user. We need a developer to write an app for us that allows the following: Boat owner to post their geolocation by city/marina or geolocation lat/long on a map. Then to enter a destination or several waypoints plus the final destination. The programme should plot this leg. Amendments should be possible by owner by dragging the plotted line to a chosen point (for example when the line is not logical i.e. crossing overland instead of sea). The owner should be able to enter information on Date/ time of departure, how many spaces for that journey are available and what skill set, if any, are required. Also, the amount of pay either by day or journey. If guest are welcome the price needs to be indicated. When hovering over the plotted line the number of spaces available and prospective sailing dates should show up. Build this into the existing website and ensure that boat owners and boat users can be successfully matched Linking up to existing profile Linking up to payment The existing website is written in Ruby on Rails and your application has to work within this framework.
