You are a front-end hybrid engineer with rock solid front-end skills and command of modern tools and techniques to build modular JS and BEM style CSS. You are a confident Drupal and Wordpress developer, who is comfortable with creating child themes, implementing popular plugins, and know how to make simple customizations with PHP. You will work with developers across our Chicago and NY offices, developing mobile-first responsive sites for our industry leading clients. Responsibilities: Meet and work closely with teammates during all phases of product development Work directly in Wordpress and/or Drupal developing themes, and modules/plugins. Word with Node.js to create applications based on client needs. Implement best coding practices and development workflows. Participate in peer code reviews to ensure consistency and avoid duplication Code responsive web pages using HTML5 and CSS3 media queries from wireframes Suggest and push new ideas, frameworks, and process to move the team forward in our space.
