It taps on virtual representations of barcodes, labels and products to give students an authentic experience in modern dispensing practice. Key features include registration of patient, prescribing and dispensing medicines, inventory control using product barcodes and provides prompt drug interaction alerts. It aims to accommodate 50 users to utilize the software simultaneously (including administrators to adjust inventory) and ensure consistency of data, make the software in a way which people cannot see the source code and allow for compatibility with other browsers, namely internet explorer and chrome.
