I attach here the old and the new R code which manipulates data of some basketball teams. In the NBAnew code we tried to change and crop only the code needed. There are implementations of the same requirement (for example #3,#4 and #5 are implemented twice. Although some variables of those ways are used in #17 so maybe we need only one of the two ways.
