We are looking for a super detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to work in USA timezone (CST). Job descriptions: 1. Assist in preparing and communicating requests for quote to suppliers. 2. Work with specific specs and communicate clearly and specifically with suppliers. 3. Review supplier quotes and prepare price comparison summaries based on quotes and specs. 4. Analyze various stock levels reports, as well as sales reports for various products and ingredients. 5. Follow SOP diligently and work seamlessly in a team environment 6. Work and negotiate with suppliers regarding stock availability, delivery schedule, pricing 7. Perform all other administrative or support tasks needed Qualifications: * Excellent oral & written English communication skills (US English) * Able to work 30-40/hr each week in USA timezone (CST) * 3+ years of purchasing experiences * A proactive problem-solve; Ability to multi-task * Has high attention to detail – can verify their own work * Extremely organized Please include a cover letter stating why you are the best candidate for this position. Hello This is a request for being employed as a purchasing agent. I can start work immediately and be able to work full-time. I am confident in executing all the tasks cited in the description. I had been serving a USA based towel manufacturing company for 5 years as a procurement officer. I gained experience working with world famous buyers like Wallmart, Nitori, JYSK & IKEA. My responsibilities included dealing with packaging suppliers, taking & comparing price quotes from suppliers as per the specification of items, tracking item stocks, placing orders and following up the deliveries, rejection, and replacement. I have to be in coordination with four other departments: marketing, quality, store, accounts department so that the entire process of purchasing may be done efficiently. I am currently based in London. I have previously worked alongside companies in the US, therefore working on CST time wouldn't be an issue! I am very organised, which allows me to take on a multiple range of tasks at any given time. Hi! I would like to apply for the Purchasing Agent position. I believe I am well-suited to the position because my skills perfectly match the skills needed for this job. I have been a virtual assistant (project manager/executive assistant) for two (2) years now and have done a variety of tasks for executive clients such as email management, calendar scheduling, travel planning, purchasing and some customer support via email. I also do basic social media management and mainly HR tasks such as recruitment and employee engagement. The tools that I’m using are Google Suite, Trello, Slack, Skype, Zoom, Canva, Shopify, basic Wordpress and HR information software like BambooHR and Bitrix24. As an assistant, I am a self starter, quick learner and very optimistic and passionate towards work. And because of this I believe that these skills can be very helpful to the position that I am applying for and that I can contribute to the business and to the team. Moreover, The tasks of a virtual assistant/project manager is something that I enjoy doing because it’s not a routine type of job and that I get to do different tasks with different department and colleagues depending on the instructions given to me. So everyday is something new and I like that. That makes my job not boring and I love being challenged. I do hope that I will be given the chance to present myself to discuss more details.
