Commission only sales executive

Are you a professional, well-rounded sales professional? Do you know how to hunt new business, farm accounts, and close sales? Do you have experience of technology and/or the energy and sustainability markets? The Role : We are seeking an experienced new business sales person reporting to our Sales Director. You will be personable and confident, both on the phone and face-to-face. As someone that is proactive, tenacious, target driven and results focused you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You will need previous experience in a business development role, ideally with experience of selling software, energy or sustainability solutions. Above all, you will be a ‘closer’, able to secure new accounts, possibly through your existing contacts, as well as farming current contracts. With this role you will be set sales and revenue growth targets; you will provide and review sales strategy and plans and will need to work autonomously throughout the UK. Key competencies we`re looking for include: - Passionate and interested in energy, sustainability, and the environment. - Ability to communicate and express views clearly and enthusiastically. - Quickly able understand and articulate the advantages of our offering to potential clients. - Capable of developing marketing solutions to help solve the prospect’s business needs. - Confident and self-motivated, with excellent negotiation skills. - Comfortable and experienced working in a target based environment. Whilst there is a significant focus on engaging with prospective clients on the phone, and on sales appointments, you`ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas for marketing activity to develop awareness. The candidate chosen will be working from home and will be required to travel around the UK, mileage will be paid. Ideally, you should be able to meet regularly at our offices in Coventry. In order to be considered, you`ll need a proven background in sales/business development and will ideally have a good awareness of the energy services industry.
