In my opinion, based on professional experience, the one word would be "Coordinator". I personally have handled teams ranging from 5 people to 15, for clients catering to Hollywood post-production to AI to healthcare. Never have I known much of the technical stuff that goes on behind the scenes, and I have always put that truth out to both the clients and the people who actually do the work. I respect both parties, understand what the client needs and the deadlines to be met, post which I talk with the actual people involved in getting the work done about their needs and requirements, listen to their complaints and treat them and their expertise with respect. This usually results in them liking to report to me, they have the feeling that I will fight for their needs with the client as well, and this also helps them to go above and beyond if/when the work demands certain more hours. As far as my working relationships with the client are concerned, you can always connect with me and find out over a conversation which would create a much more lasting impact than me typing away at my keyboard in the early morning hours in the everlasting hope of a side project which could add to my income gathered from my full time job which requires 45 hours/week.
