The project entails designing a small application to be used in rural locations in order to track incoming raw material and maintain an inventory. On the front end, the application will be simple data entry. On the back end the application will accrue the data daily and provide an excel report daily in a set-format as decided by us. Furthermore, simple analytics should be also executed in a master file (in excel) which will contain our total inventory. Data entry will be done by employees with a bare bone knowledge of computers, and so must be simple to use and understand. We want it to be touch enabled because these employees area already accustomed to using smartphones.
