Write some Software

I am taking over an existing, already written project. The software works using Google Maps API. At our amusement park, a customer types in their address and the program animates placing a pin where they live on a dual screen display (one screen is touch screen for data entry, the other shows the map). The primary goal of the software is to capture email addresses to email the customer and request a Trip Advisor review. The software is complete and operating, but the programmer who did it fell of the face of the earth. We need someone to dig into the program and create some updates, plus follow along with changes in the Google Maps API so the program remains operational. Most of the coding is in VB. There is also a javascript component. There are too compiled programs, the main terminal/kiosk program and an admin program that need major updating (right now, the emails are all sent through one email account). We have several other attractions that would like to set this up, so we need to make it easy to change/reset. This project will authorize you to review the code and make updates to the core program and the admin program. Right now, we must add email account information in the admin program instead of the hard coding currently in place. In addition, I want you to spend time with reviewing the code and maybe adding some comments. If this small project is successful, we will write a new project for long term management of the software. I don't see major changes or many hours, but we must have someone familiar with the code and the Google Map API to keep up with the software.
