Student attendance tracker using barcode

I need a school attendance system that uses a bar code scanner to input entry and exit times. It will be used to track attendance in all events e.g. coming and leaving school, attending classes, taking meals, attending extra-curricular activities and so on. Below are some of the functions it is supposed to accomplish: - Create groups of people e.g. staff, form 1 etc - Create lists of names and associate them with groups e.g. this person belongs to this class etc. At the point of creation each name should be associated with it's bar code and group. - Create venues where events take place e.g. class rooms. dining hall - Create events which could be one time e.g inter-school debate or regularly repetitive e.g. lesson one or lunch. The time and date of this events should be indicated and the groups or names of people who will take part should be indicated. - Generate attendance reports for each event with a list of those present with their times of entry and exit and a list of those absent.
