Hello, I need more clarity on what is required. I am expecting you will provide one file of around 450 rows. Each row will have source and destination co-ordinates. The task is to calculate distances between those co-ordinates and provide a SQL script with one line to populate the distances for each line. Is there something deviating from here? Do you need geographical distance or driving distance between the co-ordinates. Thanks

I've checked the google api and it seems to satisfy your needs, but since it has a limit of requests I do not know how long will it take for the program to finish. Hello calisun, I'm a current graduate student at the University of Colorado studying Geographic Information Systems. You can view some of my mapping projects at www.akovacs.us. I can quickly and accurately produce the database of distance measurements you need using ArcGIS. In order to complete your project I would create a python script that would use a common projection depending on the scale of the measurements for the most accuracy (more accurate than google maps), and then add the records to a database. Hello, I have done such jobs previously and I even have the code ready for it. So my bid is even less and I can provide you a satisfactorily work. The entries are around 450K whereas google maps allow only 2500 queries per day. However I can try some hack to bypass that limit and provide you the work in lesser time. Another way is I can count mathematically the distance between the coordinates. MS SQL Server also provides that facility inbuilt. Feel free to ask me any questions you have. Thanks, Moiz.
