I worked for an Agriculture Company, who imports Agro chemical and fertilizer in bulk and repack and dustribute. I have searched internet for possible suppliers, evaluated them, corresponded with them for information and prices. Very well knowledgeable with Incoterms. 2. PO's Have raised PO's for foreign suppliers as well as local suppliers. Ws used SAGE as our ERP. 3. Knowledge on US Market. Frankly I do not have any knowledge on US market conditions or sellers. Have delt with suppliers in Japan, Thailand, China and some European suppliers. Needless to say the procurement manager should be a proactive person, should have excellent time management skills and should be a quick decision maker.
