Hello, my name is Ryan, I run and manage Korma Storm Studios. A new company that will focus primarily on game design and graphic design. I am also the owner of the Korma Storm youtube channel. Which I have taken a break from uploading to in order to teach myself coding and how to use the Lumberyard Engine. Which was created by Amazon and is a version of the Crytech Engine.
This project is a concept trailer for a game I have been creating for the past 7 and a half years. Production has not started yet, I've just been doing a bunch of research, learning to code and program, writing the lore, developing character types, developing ideas for rendering, experimenting with different game engines, and much more.
The skills required are 3D Animation, Motion Graphics, and access to a design software similar to Maya. Doesn’t have to be Maya, but from my limited understanding of how to create a game trailer, Maya appears to be the best, but most expensive, option. Doesn't matter just so long as you have the knowledge to create and animate the trailer. I am rewriting the “script” right now for the video and I will be supplying the voice acting it. I will give the script to the people that have the skills needed to complete this project.
My budget for upfront pay is about 1,500 USD. But I can offer other forms of payment after the trailer is released. I can go more into the pay options in private, seeing as it will differ from individual to individual. If you feel like hourly pay will work better we can go that route to
Unfortunately, I don't make a lot of money, but once people see this trailer and I go deeper into what the game will be about. Donations should start rolling in and I can get the ball rolling while offering better payment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
