Salesforce Integration with SQL Server/Oracle

Questions: 1. Please can you explain is there any specific object (fields) that once updated on Salesforce the data has to be sync with SQl/Oracle? How many? 2. Which version of SQL SERVEr you are running at the moment. 3. Is it ok If it is a desktop application (windows service) that does the sync? Or you prefer salesforce app? Hi, I have 5+ years experience working in Data Integration (ETL) and Data Warehousing projects using Talend Open Studio, which is a Java code generator tool that builds programs out of workflow and data flow designs. For my approach, I plan to implement data flow logic between Salesforce and SQL databases using Talend components: 1. Whenever 'Save' transaction occurs in Salesforce, Talend job is triggered to push fields to SQL Server/Oracle. Alternatively, Talend job can also poll for changes in fields by making requests to Salesforce API. 2. Once processing using fields is completed server-side, Talend job updates custom field in Salesforce (Done thru standard Watch SQL Table component) 3. Whenever changes are detected in custom field in SQL Server/Oracle, Talend job pushes new field values to Salesforce (Done thru standard Watch SQL Table component) 4. Orchestrate all steps above.
