Programming in C, C++, Python, PHP and Visual Basic is more a hobby than my profession. I like challenging projects which are off the beaten track. I can write web applications using popular PHP/Python frameworks like CodeIgniter, Laravel, Django and Yii. But I prefer using my own lightweight framework that caters to most of the common development tasks. This makes for highly flexible web applications that load much faster than full-fledged frameworks while at the same time less buggy than conventional PHP. I can write complex VBA scripts for MS Office. I do C/C++ using GCC on Linux with GTK or wxWidgets for GUI applications. On Windows, I prefer MingW32/64 with wxWidgets for GUI.
