I have been a Mac-based graphic designer and production artist since 1990, using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop and QuarkXPress; I have also used these and other programs in the Windows environment since 1993. I'm familiar with many other programs, such as Adobe GoLive, Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I know HTML and CSS and can install and configure Javascript and PHP programs. My hand skills are first-rate, with the ability to create many types of mock-ups and presentations. I’m also adept at traditional (non-computer) illustration techniques, including airbrush painting, pen & ink, pencil, pastels and charcoal. My cartoons and illustrations have appeared in SRA/McGraw-Hill textbooks, Hooked on Phonics, in numerous advertisements, and in the comic book "Licensable Bear."
