I have a BA in English and an MA in Creative Writing. I have written pieces for gaming companies and have won several online short story contests. Building on my experience writing reports in the youth justice sector, I was responsible for gate-keeping (i.e. proofreading and editing) reports by my colleagues. These reports were a critical opportunity to demonstrate our professionalism and the reports I wrote and gate-kept were always well received by partner agencies.

One of the key aspects of this job was the preparation of high quality court reports to strict deadlines. In seven years, I never submitted a late report. Time after time, judges and magistrates commented on how thorough and well-written my reports were. In particular, colleagues felt they actually knew the young person involved once they had read my work.
