We are launching DrinkFredericksburg.com, a NEW website that provides an entertainment directory and event calendar service for the small town of Fredericksburg, Texas.

Fredericksburg is a growing tourist destination and wine production center in Texas with about 20 wineries nearby. Many of the website users will be travelers who came to sample the wineries and have a romantic vacation. The users want to know where to visit and what events are occurring...we are the most comprehensive and accurate source of that information.

Our website lists local businesses including bars, nightclubs, wineries, breweries, liquor stores, and area restaurants with alcohol sales permits. All the businesses and events we target sell or serve alcoholic beverages. We want a logo that appeals to a classy elegant adult crowd.

While many of the users are wine enthusiasts, others come looking for live music events, breweries, bars, horse races, and alcohol-related events like Oktoberfest. The logo needs to appeal to a diverse audience; the common element being they are all looking to have fun, and drink.

Our design concepts included wine glasses, martini glasses, beer mugs, the word "Fredericksburg" in a old-world German serif font, the word "Drink" in a classy script. Feel free to use our concepts, or try something totally different.

The website currently uses a dark grey (evening) background, but we can change if the logo requires something else. http://www.DrinkFbg.com

Final versions of artwork must be provided in vector Photoshop, Illustrator, or Fireworks PNG format with layers intact and a list of fonts.

Please no logos that primarily use wine bottle icons. Since this is a prominent wine region, wine bottle based logos already proliferate. We want something less familiar.
