I'm seeking an experienced illustrator to create the frontispiece for a science fiction novel, STAR ENVOYS Selection, the first novel in the STAR ENVOYS trilogy.

- Style: The illustration needs to be realistic, detailed and faithful to the characters and settings in the novel.

- Quantity: The book will contain between 20-50 illustrations. This contest is for the frontispiece only. See www.tomcool.us and follow the links for "Contests" for a copy of the novel, additional reference materials as well as information provided for a USD$1,000+ contest for additional illustrations for the book.

- Format: The illustration must be in color, .PNG, with an aspect ratio of 2:3 (w:h).

Ideal candidate should have experience in science fiction and fantasy illustrations, expert in traditional media as well as generative artificial intelligence (Midjourney or ChatGPT/DALL-E) and photo editing (Adobe Photoshop.)

AI winning again. Good luck because AI is inconsistent and can't create a lot of things exactly as it described in your books. She able to create that woman because you given her picture but you don't have pics for the whole book.

Could you give me some reference as to what type of image you are looking for? Because in the description you don't mention anything specifically, I think it would be great to know some of the elements that the images should have. or some of the particular images you are looking for. Thank you.

  Hi, CONTEST HOLDER I want to know Is AI allowed because your images are created with AI and all of the entries too. But you want it for your book which needs particular scenes which isn't possible with AI as you can see with the entries.
