I need an app that when a user checks in it will locate other users that have checked in with the same app. The seacrh will show whether the person is available, busy etc and the searcher is offered an Instant Message option to be sent to the user in an attempt to start a chat dialogue. I'd like the app to have an uploadable photo feature where the searcher can view other profiles with pictures. I want it to have a instant message type interface that runs over the data network so its free to IM. I want the user to have the option of being available or not and to include, busy, away, be right back etc. When other users are searching, it should show a user profile with a brief description like; Sex, Age, Status, Picture, and a one-liner when being found to attract people. It should also be integrated with Facebook for easier user login. I would like this to also go across the android platform also. Please advise of any previous work Thanks

You will need to have a vps hosting in order to install openfire that will be the chat server through which users can send free IM to each other when using the same app or you can user the facebook chat server but you will loose the ability to set status. Client required an app which will feature an IM service and will look similar to messaging screen of iPhone, ability to search new profile and interact with then, ability to manage profile. There are few catch if you select us we can discuss this in detail and we could offer you the best possible solution. We have done several similar apps like Gapp, f2f, etc which features complex IM modules that allow text, picture, video and locations to be shared. Looking forward to your response.
