Hi, FFMPEG is no longer available in default Ubuntu repositories and so it can not be installed via apt-get install ffmpeg command without adding required repositories but it is still possible to install it and I can do that. HI I faced similar issue when running OpenShot video editing software. I download the .deb package and installed it to fix. It is not so simple process, we need to manually download the dependencies for the ffmpeg. Another method is uninstall and clean install.
