There are several points that need to be cleaned up on the site located at [login to view URL] found through a Google search. The site is up but not listed yet so it is only found in Google. The site needs to display correctly in IE6 IE7 IE8 Firefox Opera Google Chrome Flock Seamomkey Safari at all display sizes. Currently the design falls apart in IE and collapses when viewed in smaller screen sizes. This will be a bit of IE hacks and css manipulation. Then the navbar needs to have something that is an external type of structure so that I only have to make changes to one page instead of updating every page created. CSS is the preferable way to accomplish this but if Javascript is the only way then I will need coaching. So, mainly we are going to get the display corrected in the various browsers and platforms and get the navbar displaying correctly also but also get the navbar in a manner where I can update the entire site through one page. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). There are several points that need to be cleaned up on the site located at [login to view URL] found through a Google search. The site is up but not listed yet. The site needs to display correctly in IE6 IE7 IE8 Firefox Opera Google Chrome Flock Seamomkey Safari at all display sizes. Currently the design falls apart in IE and collapses when viewed in smaller screen sizes. This is a project I have started and I have too many other directions pulling me away from completing these tasks. I want full ownership of the site and it business when the work is corrected. There will be no need for third party anything on completion. Most of this is going to involve IE hacks and other css manipulations. I want you to go there and look at it I think it all is self-explanatory. Firefox will give you the best representation as to the outlook of the site. When I find the one editor that I can work with we will create a relationship and proceed from there. Look at the site in the different browsers and at different screen sizes and you should understand what needs to be done from there. But with what is left of 8000 characters I will try to define the scope. #1 on the main layout found in pages like the home page the left column links drop out as the page size is reduced, all browsers. #2 the background image in the mainwindow div needs to remain centered and no repeat at any size. A reduction in image is o.k. but it must remain centered. This is an IE thing most of all. Looking at the backgrounds behavior in Firefox displays the best method for handling the background. The footer falls apart and drops out with the screen size reduction. In IE the footer is dismantled no matter what. Most IE problems The shadow under the navbar needs to go. The drop down of the Navbar needs to be in front of all else. I will develop a second means of navigation for those that do not enable Javascripts. (my work). IE again the second layout you can find under the links in the left column of the mainwindow navbar like the Musicman Sub1 or 1974 Precision BASS LINKS. IE 6 and 7 Shreds the background and tears the layout apart. Again the best description view of the page is in Firefox some problems are the same as the mainwindow and footer problems mention earlier. In Firefox what can be corrected is I want the ads and the photos side by side no matter the resolution. Then the navbar needs to have something that is an external type of structure so that I only have to make changes to one page instead of updating every page created. This site will grow to 100 + pages over time. The navbar needs to work easily and not require skilled mouse use to keep it open. The submenu items need to open directly to the right of the list item they are associated with and not at the top of the newly opened column. All tabs are to be one size and everything will open symmetrical so all tabs line up as if in a grid pattern and not overlapping or off center. Would be nice to have a slight line between the item and subitems but this is not necessary. If you look at the open tabs in firefox you will see a shadow line created in the right of some the tabs; this shadow line needs to go. What more you can suggest to improve the speed of loading these windows or other improvements to make the site more attractive and or workable can be communicated to me so I can make a decision if we would in-cooperate the ideas you have. I want all drafts turned into me and I will upload them if this is not to much of a problem. If I have not described in detail enough the scope of this tasks as of yet please notify me and I will continue to detail the efforts needed further. Thanks for your time, William. ## Platform I use Dreamweaver, windows vista all other info HTML CSS JS is found in the source code of the operating site
