I have worked with Ansys Fluent extensively during my thesis project for designing and analysis for a Rapid Compression Machine to evaluate heat transfer, velocity profile and temperature distribution in the combustion chamber during the full stoke of the Piston. My experience with FEA analysis had a close part of my designing as I use this tool to gain insights for optimising my designs. I generally use Autodesk Inventor and Nastran solver for the above.
