I'm a college student who's going to be studying Film Production (major) and Psychology (minor) in America during 2021.
I'm suitable for being a student counselor because me and the students at Cinecraft Academy of Film & Television Institute relate with each other very well. We are both studying film and we are both more or less within the same age gap, which makes communication easier. People who are within the same age gap are more likely to communicate with each other more efficiently and I'm definitely the youngest (20) among all the candidates. I'm also a guy with a good sense of humor which could cheer up some depressed students or applicants.
I can provide the film knowledge I had and some own experiences to the respected students and give them their needed information according to my experience. Film is a form of art and not everyone gets it. And to the students or applicants, I might be the only 'human' in their eyes.
