I need a LCS 2005 / OCS 2007 R2 guru to fix an issue with our recent migration from LCS 2005 to OCS 2007 R2. I have 1 Standard Edition FE, 1 Director, 1 Edge. Everything internally works fine. We see “status unknown” for external contacts and cannot IM external or PIC contacts.
We have 99.9% of users still on LCS 2005 servers, but have an OCS 2007 R2 built coexisting in the same domain. I want the LCS 2005 users and potential OCS 2007 R2 users to all go through the OCS 2007 R2 Edge Server. The LCS proxy server is broken.
You can telnet from the internet to our public access edge over port 5061. Also communication from FE and Director to internal edge access is fine. If it’s a routing or network issue, you need to isolate it and help me fix it.
